FANTASY FOOTBALL ROOKIE RANKINGS 2021

The following is a ranking and overview of the rookies for this PPR 2021 season. FantasyPros and the Fantasy Sports Writers Association (FSWA) provided comments.

NAJEE HARRIS (RB1 – PITTSBURGH STEELERS)

The running back position is the backbone of your dynasty squad, and Najee Harris is the brightest star. This season, Harris is in his prime.

Harris is a master of every game due to his incredible vision. His movements are so soft that it is hard to imagine that he weighs 230 pounds and is 2’6″ tall.

Harris has accomplished more than we could have imagined in just 13 games. In addition to running 1,466 yards and receiving 43 passes, he scored 30 touchdowns. This number says it all.

The rookie player’s future is brighter than ever this season with the Steelers’ confidence.

KYLE PITTS (TE1 – ATLANTA FALCONS)

It might seem odd to rank a tight end this high in the rookie fantasy football rankings. However, Kyle Pitts and his performance justify the ranking.

For 770 yards, he made 43 hits. Pitts even set a college touchdown record with 12 goals. That’s an impressive achievement considering his position.

Second only to Calvin Ridley, Kyle Pitts is the key player for the passing game. In keeper leagues, he has more potential as a receiver than a tight end.

DEVONTA SMITH (WR1 – PHILADELPHIA EAGLES)

We can see impressive numbers in the 13 games DeVonta Smith participated in in the 2020 season. Furthermore, he is the first player to receive the Heisman Trophy since Desmond Howard in 1991. There were 23 touchdowns and 117 passes for 1,856 yards, so you know what to bet on.

This rookie’s offensive power and toughness during his collegiate career are impressive despite his unattractive physique. Smith and Reagan helped boost the recipient’s push.

We at WR1 look forward to seeing Smith break more records in the future.

JA’MARR CHASE (WR2 – CINCINNATI BENGALS)

To enhance your offensive line, another wide receiver on the list, draft Ja’Marr Chase at WR2.

We can expect an explosive season for both players with the reunion of Chase and Joe Burrow. His build makes him an elite fantasy wide receiver with a high floor.

Chase’s performance took a substantial hit in the 2019 season. He set the SEC record with 84 receptions and 1,780 receiving yards at LSU.

The Bengals also have two other elite wide receivers in their lineup. Chase’s performance will therefore be less affected.

JAVONTE WILLIAMS (RB2 – DENVER BRONCOS)

In the 35th round of the draft, the Broncos traded up to land Williams. Williams is a versatile running back with an elusive style of play.

The guy from North Carolina looks perfect in preseason action. In the last three seasons, his YAC and forced missed tackle rates are second. In Williams’ admirable form, he is aggressive and present in the most crucial situations.

Everyone expected Melvin Gordon’s explosiveness in the following seasons, besides the initiator. There is a chance this guy will start slow, but the deeper he goes, the more trustworthy he will become.

TREVOR LAWRENCE (QB1 – JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS)

Would you please draft Trevor Lawrence for your starting job with position QB1? He has tremendous physical strength and a high level of passing ability. Like Justin Herbert, he also has a good sense of configuration.

Trevor Lawrence is known for his arm-dependent playstyle. This could pretty much prevent him from becoming a genuinely threatening double midfielder in the future. Unlike what you might expect, Lawrence can scoot when he fights.

You’ll be pleased if you pick him to play the read-option run game. So far, we have not seen a player with such an upside as Andrew Luck.

JAYLEN WADDLE (WR3 – MIAMI DOLPHINS)

Jaylen Waddle is ranked seventh in this fantasy football rookie dynasty rankings. Miami drafted him in April. If he has enough speed, toughness, and playability, we can expect him in the rookie draft.

Despite his petite build, he had an 81% catch rate over three years with the Crimson Tide. With two trusted partners, Will Fuller V and DeVante Parker, Waddle can be played flexibly from the inside out.

Consider this guy’s natural talent and condition if his stats aren’t enough to convince you. He’ll shine when the timing is right.

ELIJAH MOORE (WR4 – NEW YORK JETS)

The body shape of Elijah Moore was standard when he entered the tournament. With good stamina and speed, he weighs 185 pounds and stands 5’9″. The WR’s hands are very reliable with his ability to clear the ball after catching the ball. In addition, he can drop deep in big games.

Moore made 86 touchdowns with 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns in just eight games. This guy enters the fantasy football dynasty rankings 2021 with an impressive number.

Moore is equipped with all the skills needed to be a breakout rookie. Zach Wilson could target him in PPR scoring formats that reward volume by raising his imaginary prospects.

TERRACE MARSHALL JR. (WR5 – CAROLINA PANTHERS)

The young LSU star is ninth on the top fantasy football rookies. Combined with his all-around catching radius, Marshall’s speed is mind-blowing. He shows off his outstanding abilities in competitive situations. Marshall became a threat as soon as he had the football in his hand.

Marshall has outstanding inside-out experience with an alignment of 83%. Given that he is not the main person in this position, this is an impressive number. Marshall will be able to sneak in the middle if Sam Darnold plays well.

For the late pick, he will be the best candidate.

RASHOD BATEMAN (WR6 – BALTIMORE RAVENS)

Rashod Bateman

Bateman was selected by Baltimore with the 27th overall pick in the April draft. He is a decent size, weighs six feet one and 210 pounds, and projects as a perimeter/X receiver in the pros. Minnesota’s young star receiver is a physical receiver with good routing skills, speed, and catching ability.

Bateman has handled 43% of his team’s airfields in 2020 (despite only playing five games) and a 32% target rate over three seasons.

In Baltimore, however, there are large numbers of people trying to evade him, since Lamar Jackson’s attack is mostly based on the run. It is not an ideal landing spot in the short term, so Bateman would be better off with an exemption in the short term. The tournament lasts all season.
